Age Concern Herefordshire & Worcestershire are able to offer a range of products and services to enable you to maintain your independence at home and assist with managing day to day or one – off tasks. We constantly develop these services to ensure they meet the highest standards and provide value for money.
Availability
All of our services are available 5 days per week and cover the majority of areas in Worcestershire.
Charges
We may make a small charge for providing these services, to cover the cost of running the services.
Cleaning
Would you like the help of a cleaner around your home, but want someone you can trust at an affordable cost? Whether you need a regular cleaner or a one off service, we can recommend the most suitable person for you.
Gardening
Are you struggling to maintain your garden, have loose slabs which are causing a risk of falling, or simply need your lawns mowing? Our gardening team can assist with all of these and much more.
Handyperson
Do you have minor DIY jobs which need doing in your home? Our Handypeople are fully trained to carry out a range of tasks from fixing washers on leaking taps through to assembling flat pack furniture.
Free Security and Safety Checks
Are you worried about the safety and security of your home? If so, we can help with our free security and safety checks.
Telephone Befriending and Support
Are you or someone you know feeling lonely, isolated or recently experienced a trauma? Our telephone befriending service offers regular contact with trained volunteers.
Wellcheck
Our Wellcheck Scheme offers an assessment and information signposting service for anyone over 50 who is starting to experience difficulties such as maintaining a home or having financial worries.
