Are you looking for information on local services or advice on any issues? We offer a confidential advice service covering a whole range of subjects relating to the over 50’s.
Our service is free of charge and can be accessed via telephone, dropping into our offices or by appointment. Our friendly team of advisors and volunteers are fully trained to ensure you receive the most relevant information to your circumstances. Whether you need the telephone number of your local plumber or want assistance with applying for benefits we are here to help. Please contact us for more details.

Charges
Our information and advice service is free, however we do charge a small fee for fact sheets, and some professional services. All donations are welcome, however small, and all money goes back to providing valuable services for older people in your area. You can donate on-line, by cheque, postal order, in person at our offices or you can bequeath in your will.

Would you like advice on claiming benefits? Our professionally trained benefits advisors can help, either at our offices or through our home visit service.
Legal Advice Sessions
Do you need legal advice but are unsure who to talk to? Our free legal advice surgeries can help with all manner of legal issues.
Will Writing Services
Do you need to write a will or take advice on later life issues such as inheritance tax or power of attorney? Our confidential will writing service is available to anyone over 50 living in the area.
Tax for Older People Advice Surgeries
Are you worried about tax and cannot afford to pay for professional services? We may be able to help through our regular tax surgeries.
Advice Services in the Community
Would you like to attend an advice surgery in your area? We currently hold a number of free sessions in the community which are often more convenient and easier to access.
